The Magic Vitamin Pool

Lily loved summer more than anything in the world. Every day, she would beg her mother to take her to the community swimming pool. The water called to her like a friendly voice, and she could spend hours splashing and playing.

One particularly hot afternoon, Lily noticed something strange. An old woman with silver hair and kind eyes sat by the pool, dropping what looked like colorful little stones into the water. Each stone sparkled like a tiny rainbow.

"What are those?" Lily asked, dripping water onto the hot concrete.

"Magic vitamin stones," the woman said with a wink. "They make the swimming water extra special. Want to see?"

Lily nodded eagerly. When she jumped back into the pool, something amazing happened. The water around her began to glow softly, and she felt warmer, happier, and stronger than ever before. She swam faster and farther than she ever had before!

But then she noticed a small boy sitting alone on the edge of the pool. He looked sad and watched the other children with longing eyes.

Lily remembered what her mother had taught her: true magic is always better when shared.

She swam over to the boy. "Would you like to try something magical?" she asked. When he nodded, she led him to the sparkling water where the magic vitamin stones had dropped.

Together, they swam and laughed. The boy's smile grew brighter with every splash, and Lily realized that the real magic wasn't in the vitamin stones at all. It was in friendship, kindness, and sharing joy with others.

"Thank you," the boy said, his eyes shining. "This is the best day ever."

Lily smiled, understanding now that some vitamins aren't something you swallow—they're something you give away. And the more you share, the stronger you become.
