The Magic Vitamin Door

Lily was seven years old and loved her dog Max, a fluffy golden retriever, and her cat Mittens, a curious calico who loved adventure.

One rainy Saturday, Lily sat at the kitchen table with her mom's old iPhone. Beside her sat her morning vitamin – a chewy orange star.

Suddenly, the iPhone started glowing! Rainbow colors swirled like a tiny tornado. Max and Mittens padded over curiously.

"What's happening?" Max asked.

Lily gasped. "You can talk?"

"It's the magic vitamin!" Mittens meowed. "Touch the phone with it!"

Lily pressed the vitamin gummy against the glowing screen. POOF! The iPhone grew into a sparkly door just her size.

A tiny fairy fluttered out. "You've unlocked the Friendship Portal! This vitamin was made of stardust and kindness – only someone with a pure heart could open it."

"Where does it go?" Lily asked.

"To the Kingdom of Wonder," the fairy said. "But first, a riddle: What makes the strongest magic?"

Lily thought. "Love?"

"Close. The answer is friendship. Come see!"

They stepped through into a magical land where clouds were cotton candy and rivers flowed with grape juice. They played with talking squirrels and had a picnic on a giant mushroom.

But as sunset approached, Lily felt homesick. "I miss my family," she admitted.

The fairy nodded. "That's the truest magic – love for those you hold dear. The door home opens only for hearts that value home."

They stepped back through the shrinking iPhone doorway. Max and Mittens could still talk (for one hour every day!), and Lily kept the magic lesson forever: the best adventures are wonderful, but the real magic is the love you share with friends and family.
