The Magic Vitamin Adventure
Lily loved spending her summers at Grandma's house, especially because of the magical swimming pool in the backyard. It wasn't just any pool — Grandma said it was filled with enchanted water that made everyone who swam in it feel happy and strong.
One sunny morning, Lily noticed something strange. Mr. Green, the grumpy old neighbor who lived next door, was walking slowly around his garden. His arms hung limp at his sides, and he moved like a sleepy zombie. Lily had never seen him so tired!
"Grandma!" Lily called. "Something's wrong with Mr. Green!"
Grandma smiled mysteriously and handed Lily a small orange bottle. "These are magic vitamins," she whispered. "They're made from sunshine flowers that grow only in our garden. But they only work if you give them with kindness and play."
Lily gathered her friends, Mateo and Sophie, and they devised a plan. They set up the padel court near the fence and began playing. The sound of the ball bouncing — *thwack, thwack, thwack* — made Mr. Green curious. He shuffled closer to watch.
"Want to play?" Lily asked, holding out a bright orange tablet. "It's a magic vitamin that gives you energy!"
Mr. Green's eyes widened. The children showed him how to hold the padel racket, and soon they were all laughing and playing together. When Mr. Green took the magic vitamin, something wonderful happened. His straight face broke into a smile, and he began moving with energy.
"Who wants to go swimming?" he announced, sounding like his old self again.
In the magical pool, Mr. Green splashed and played like a kid. Lily learned something important that day: sometimes people act like zombies not because they're grumpy, but because they need friendship, fun, and a little bit of magic to feel alive again.
From then on, the children made sure to share their magic vitamins — and their padel games — with anyone who looked like they needed cheering up. Because the real magic wasn't in the orange tablets at all. It was in kindness, friendship, and never forgetting to play.
