The Magic Under the Palm Tree
Leo was the fastest **running** boy in his neighborhood. Every day after school, he would tie his sneakers and go **running** through his backyard, racing the wind and pretending he was a cheetah chasing adventure.
One sunny afternoon, Leo's foot hit something hard near the big **palm** tree that stood like a guardian at the edge of his yard. He knelt down and brushed away the fallen leaves. There, half-buried in the warm earth, sparkled a tiny golden **pyramid** no bigger than his fist.
"Mom! Come look what I found!" Leo called out. But when his mother came outside, the **pyramid** was gone. Only a single golden scarab beetle remained, crawling across Leo's open **palm**.
That night, Leo dreamed he was **running** through a desert, following the beetle toward an enormous **pyramid** under twinkling stars. Inside, he found a girl his age who had been trapped for thousands of years.
"Please help me," she said. "You're fast, like the desert winds. Only the swiftest runner can break the spell."
Leo woke up with his heart pounding. In his hand, the golden scarab glowed. The next morning, he went **running** back to the **palm** tree, circling it three times. The tiny **pyramid** reappeared!
He touched it, and suddenly the girl stood before him—her name was Amara, and she was from ancient Egypt. She showed him how to share his speed with others, and together they created games that made everyone feel like champions.
"True magic," Amara said, "is using what makes you special to help others shine."
When she had to return to her time, she left Leo the golden **pyramid** as a reminder. Now, whenever Leo goes **running**, he slows down to include others. Because the real adventure, he learned, isn't about being the fastest—it's about making sure no one gets left behind.
