The Magic Sunshine Vitamin

Lily lived in a cozy cottage at the edge of Whispering Woods, where the trees hummed gentle songs when the wind blew through their branches. Every morning, her golden retriever Sunny would wake her with a wet nose and a happy tail wag, while Whiskers the orange tabby cat curled like a fluffy rainbow at the foot of her bed.

They found a tiny door at the base of an ancient oak tree. Behind it lived Nutmeg, a squirrel with the fluffiest tail in all the forest. Nutmeg was crying because her babies couldn't find enough food to grow strong.

Lily knew just what to do. She shared her snack of acorn cookies and helped Nutmeg gather berries from the high branches Sunny couldn't reach. Whiskers used his soft paws to carry the tiny berries carefully.

"Thank you!" Nutmeg squeaked happily, pressing something into Lily's hand. It was a golden acorn that shimmered like liquid sunshine.

"The magic sunshine vitamin!" Lily gasped. It wasn't a vitamin at all — it was the golden feeling that comes from helping others!

That night, Lily dreamed of sunshine dancing through her hair. When she woke, her grandma was brushing her long, flowing locks that had grown almost overnight.
