The Magic Spinach Sea

Lily hated spinach. Every time her mom served those green leaves, she made a terrible face.

"But spinach gives you magic powers," Mom winked.

"Yeah, right!" Lily rolled her eyes.

One night, Lily dreamed she was swimming in an ocean that glowed green and sparkling. She wasn't holding her breath—she could breathe! Tiny silver fish swam around her like confetti.

Suddenly, a girl with seaweed hair appeared. "I'm Marina! You finally came!"

"Came where?" Lily asked, floating upside down.

"The Magic Spinach Sea!" Marina spun happily. "This ocean appears only for kids who eat their spinach!"

Lily gasped. "Mom was right!"

Marina grabbed her hand. "Come! My friend Ollie needs help!"

They swam through coral forests that chimed like bells when fish brushed past. Finally, they reached a sad octopus sitting alone.

"This is Ollie," Marina said. "He wants to play Padel, but he has no opponent."

"Padel? Like the game?" Lily asked.

"Underwater Padel!" Marina pulled out a paddle made of mother-of-pearl. The ball was a glowing pearl.

Lily had never played, but somehow, in this magical sea, she knew exactly what to do. She grabbed a starfish-shaped paddle.

They played for hours! Ollie used all eight arms—no fair! But Lily dove and spun, hitting the pearl ball past him.

"You're amazing!" Ollie cheered, doing a happy underwater dance.

"Spinach power!" Lily laughed, doing a flip.

When the sky began to turn pink, Marina hugged her. "Come back tomorrow! But remember—"

"Eat my spinach!" Lily grinned.

Lily woke up as her mom entered the room. "Time for breakfast! We have—"

"Spinach!" Lily sat up, eyes shining. "And lots of it!"

Her mom's jaw dropped.

That night, Lily swam back to her magical spinach sea, ready for another adventure with her new best friends.
