The Magic Spinach Adventure
Lily's best friend Sam had stopped playing their favorite game, padel. Every day after school, they would hit the ball back and forth, laughing in the sun. But this week, Sam just sat on the bench, looking pale and slow-moving, almost like a zombie from the stories.
"What's wrong?" Lily asked, sitting beside him.
Sam sighed. "I don't have any energy. Everything feels hard."
Lily's grandmother had told her about something special. "My grandmother says there's magic in certain foods. She calls them nature's little vitamin gifts. They make you strong and fast again!"
Sam perked up a little. "Really?"
"Yes!" Lily grabbed his hand. "Let's go on an adventure to find the magic food!"
They ran to Lily's garden, where her grandmother grew wonderful things. Behind the red tomatoes and orange carrots grew something green and leafy.
"Spinach!" Lily's grandmother called, appearing with a smile. "You've found my favorite magic plant. It's full of vitamin power that makes zombies come alive again!"
She showed them how to pick the freshest leaves and made them a magical green smoothie. Sam tried it, making a funny face at first.
Then something amazing happened. Color returned to Sam's cheeks. He jumped up and started dancing.
"I feel like myself again!" Sam cheered. "I have so much energy!"
The next day, Sam was back at the padel court, hitting the ball faster than ever. Lily's grandmother watched from the bench, winked, and said, "Remember, friends: sometimes the best magic comes from the earth itself. Good food, good friends, and good fun—that's the real secret to feeling alive forever!"
From then on, Sam and Lily always ate their magical vitamin spinach before playing padel, and they never felt like zombies again. They learned that taking care of your body with healthy food means more energy for adventures with your best friend!
