The Magic Sand Pyramid

Leo and Maya loved building sand castles at the beach. But today, Leo wanted to build something different. 'Let's make a pyramid!' he said, digging into the warm sand with both hands. 'A pyramid that touches the sky!'

Maya laughed. 'That's a lot of digging, Leo. We'll get tired before we finish.' Just then, Leo's mom called them for lunch. 'Time to eat!' she called, waving from under the swaying palm trees.

They sat on the beach blanket and ate sandwiches. Leo's mom had packed something green and leafy. 'It's spinach,' she said. 'It gives you super energy!' Leo wrinkled his nose but took a bite anyway. To his surprise, it tasted sweet and fresh, like magic from a garden.

Suddenly, Leo felt something strange. His legs tingled. His arms felt strong. 'I feel like I could run all the way to the ocean and back!' he shouted. And that's just what he did — running, running, running across the sand with Maya chasing after him, both of them laughing in the sunshine.

When they returned to their pyramid, Leo started digging faster than ever before. The sand seemed to sparkle as he worked. Maya helped, her hands moving quickly too. Together they built the most beautiful sand pyramid anyone had ever seen. It rose higher and higher until the sun began to set.

As the sky turned purple and gold, something magical happened. Their pyramid began to glow softly, like tiny stars were trapped inside the sand. 'We did it together,' Maya whispered, squeezing Leo's hand. 'And the spinach gave us the magic energy.' From that day on, every time they ate their vegetables, they knew they were eating magic — the magic of friendship, dreams, and adventures waiting to happen.
