The Magic Pyramid Under the Sea

Lily loved building sand pyramids on the beach. Every summer day, she would stack wet sand into perfect triangles, dreaming of ancient Egypt and faraway lands.

One afternoon, while digging for seashells, her fingers touched something smooth and hard. She pulled it from the sand—a shiny old iPhone! But this wasn't like any phone she'd seen. When she wiped away the sand, the screen glowed with swirling colors, like captured sunlight.

"Come find me," whispered a voice, soft as ocean foam.

Lily looked around. No one was there—just the endless blue sea stretching to the horizon. But the iPhone screen showed a mysterious map, with an X marking a spot far out in the water.

She grabbed her snorkel mask. Swimming had always been her favorite thing, like flying through liquid sky. As she kicked out toward the deep water, the iPhone's light grew brighter, pulsing like a heartbeat.

Suddenly, the water beneath her turned golden. There, on the ocean floor, stood a magnificent pyramid made of coral and pearls! Fish swarmed around it like living jewels.

Inside the pyramid's glowing entrance, a young boy with shimmering blue skin waved hello. "I've been waiting for a friend!" he bubbled happily. "My name is Finn, and I'm the guardian of the Coral Pyramid."

He showed Lily wonders beyond imagination—singing seashells that played lullabies, starfish that transformed into real stars, and walls painted with moving pictures of the ocean's history.

"The magic iPhone brought you here because your heart is pure," Finn said, pressing something into her palm—a tiny pyramid charm. "Whenever you miss me, just hold this tight."

Lily swam back to shore as the sun set, the iPhone's light fading like a dream. But in her pocket, the pyramid charm still glowed warm.

Some treasures aren't made of gold, she realized. The best magic is friendship, found in the most unexpected places.

Every summer now, Lily returns to that beach, swimming out to visit Finn. And somewhere between the waves and the wonder, they've built something better than any pyramid—a friendship that shines brighter than captured sunlight.
