The Magic Pyramid's Secret

Lily loved playing padel with her best friend Mateo every Saturday. The racquet ball would bounce off the walls with a satisfying *thwack*, and they'd laugh until their sides hurt. But today, while chasing a ball into the woods behind the court, Lily spotted something strange—a tiny golden pyramid half-buried in the moss.

"Mateo! Look!" she called, brushing dirt away with her fingers. The pyramid was no bigger than her palm, with mysterious symbols carved into each side.

Mateo ran over, his eyes wide. "It looks ancient!"

Suddenly, a shimmering cable of light snaked out from the pyramid's tip, floating upward like a glowing rope. Lily gasped as it brushed against her hand, warm and tingly.

"Do you think we should... pull it?" Mateo asked nervously.

Lily nodded. Together, they tugged the magical cable. *WHOOSH!* The pyramid hummed, and the cable stretched into the sky, opening a portal that showed another world—one with purple skies and floating islands.

A voice echoed from the pyramid: "Only friends who play together may enter."

They looked at each other and grinned. "We play together every day!" Lily said.

The cable wrapped gently around their wrists, lifting them into the magical world. There, children played padel with stars as balls, using racquets made of moonlight.

"Join us!" a girl called. "But remember—the game is only fun when everyone plays."

Lily and Mateo played for hours, learning that the magic wasn't in winning, but in the joy of playing together. When they returned home, the pyramid vanished, leaving only a glowing memory and an important lesson:

Some treasures aren't meant to be kept. They're meant to teach us that the real magic is friendship, shared laughter, and playing together—not just in games, but in life.
