The Magic Pyramid's Secret

Lily and Sam were best friends who loved exploring. One hot summer day, they found something strange behind the old oak tree in Lily's backyard.

"Look!" cried Lily, pointing to a golden pyramid half-buried in the dirt. It shimmered like sunshine.

Sam helped her dig it out. The pyramid had strange symbols that glowed when they touched it. Suddenly, a beam of green light shot out, and the ground rumbled. A hidden door slid open, revealing stairs leading down into darkness.

"Let's explore!" Sam whispered.

Hand in hand, they descended. At the bottom, they found a magical underground pool with water that sparkled like stars. But something was sleeping beside it—a green creature with tangled hair.

"It's a zombie!" Sam gasped, pulling Lily behind him.

The creature opened one eye. "I'm not a zombie," it said sleepily. "I'm Zim, the guardian. I've been waiting a thousand years for friends pure of heart."

Zim sat up, looking sad. "Everyone runs away because I look scary. But I just want to share this magic pool." He gestured to the water. "One splash grants your truest wish."

Lily stepped forward bravely. "You don't look scary to us, Zim. You look lonely."

Sam nodded. "We're your friends now."

Zim's face lit up. Nobody had ever been kind before. Together, all three jumped into the magical pool. SPLASH!

Lily wished for endless adventures with her friends. Sam wished for courage to always be kind. And Zim? He wished what he had already received—friendship.

The pyramid pulsed with golden light, granting their wishes. Every day after school, Lily and Sam visited Zim. They learned that true friends look past appearances and see the heart within.
