The Magic Pyramid's Secret

Lily discovered the tiny pyramid in her grandmother's attic, hidden inside an old wooden box. It shimmered like a rainbow had been trapped inside its glass walls. Something about it made her heart beat faster.

"What are you?" she whispered, cupping the pyramid in her palm.

Suddenly, the pyramid glowed brighter, and a voice answered. "I'm a magical pyramid! I can grant one special wish."

Lily's eyes widened. Could this be real? The pyramid continued, "But you must use your wish wisely. Magic works best when it helps others."

Outside, Lily's best friend Mateo sat alone on his front porch. His goldfish bowl sat beside him, empty. His pet, Goldie, had escaped during the night.

Lily knew what to do. She rushed outside with the glowing pyramid. "I wish I could help Mateo find Goldie!"

The pyramid spun in her hand. It created a sparkling path that led to the garden. There, swimming happily in a birdbath, was Goldie!

"Goldie!" Mateo cheered, running over. "You found her! You're the best friend ever!"

The pyramid spoke again. "Your wish showed a kind heart. Now, for your reward..."

Suddenly, the yard transformed. The birdbath became a crystal pond. Palm trees sprouted from the ground, their leaves waving like green umbrellas. Best of all, a magical baseball appeared – it glowed softly and floated in the air.

"Want to play?" Mateo asked, grinning.

The pyramid hovered above them like a tiny sun as Lily and Mateo played the most magical game of baseball ever. When they hit the ball, it painted streaks of color across the sky. When they caught it, sprinkles of gold dust rained down.

As the sun set, the magical world faded. The pyramid dimmed, its magic spent. But Lily didn't mind. She had discovered something more powerful than magic – the joy of helping a friend.
