The Magic Pyramid Phone

Maya had the most extraordinary hair in her whole class. It wasn't just curly — it practically had a mind of its own! Her brown springs would bounce when she was happy and stand straight up when she was surprised.

One Saturday, Maya was playing in the park when something glinted under the old wooden slide. The slide was shaped like a tiny pyramid, and kids said it was built by magical people long ago. Maya knelt down and reached into the leaves.

It was an iPhone! But not like any phone she'd ever seen. It shimmered like a rainbow, and when she touched it, the screen lit up with swirling stars.

"Hello, Maya," the phone whispered. "I've been waiting for someone with magical hair."

Maya's hair practically jumped off her head! The phone showed her pictures of an ancient pyramid in Egypt, where a pharaoh had hidden a secret treasure — not gold or jewels, but something much more special.

"The treasure is friendship," the phone explained. "But only two children can find it together."

Maya thought of her friend Theo, who always sat alone at lunch because he was shy. She grabbed the magic iPhone and ran to find him.

"Theo! Look!" she showed him the glowing phone. "It says we need to work together."

Theo's eyes widened. As they held the phone together, their combined magic made Maya's hair and Theo's glasses both glow soft blue. The iPhone projected a map into the air, leading them to the miniature pyramid slide.

When they touched the pyramid together, it didn't feel like wood anymore — it felt warm and ancient. Inside, they found a small chest with two friendship bracelets that glowed whenever the friends were near each other.

From that day on, Maya and Theo were best friends. And Maya's magical hair? It still bounced and stood up when she was surprised, but now it curled extra tight whenever Theo was nearby — because her hair knew that true friendship is the greatest magic of all.

The magic iPhone disappeared, but Maya didn't mind. She had found something even better: a friend for life.
