The Magic Pyramid in the Pool

Lily wrinkled her nose at the green pile on her dinner plate. Spinach again! She pushed it around with her fork, wishing for anything else.

"Eat your spinach, little one," Grandma smiled with a twinkle in her eye. "This comes from my special garden. It might just surprise you."

Reluctantly, Lily took a bite. Something magical happened—she felt a tingle from her tongue to her toes! That night, strange sparkles danced outside her window. Lily crept downstairs to the backyard and gasped.

The swimming pool was glowing! Rising from the water was an emerald **pyramid**, shimmering like a jewel in the moonlight. Lily stepped closer, and the pyramid's surface rippled like water.

"Welcome, brave one," echoed a gentle voice. "Only those who embrace the green can enter."

Lily stepped through the pyramid's wall and gasped. Inside was an entire kingdom! Towering trees made of broccoli, rivers of orange juice, and flowers that bloomed into strawberries. Tiny creatures danced around—Broccoli Buddies, Tomato Tots, and the majestic Spinach Sage, who floated above them all on leaves of green.

"We've waited centuries for someone like you," the Spinach Sage said. "Children who refuse to try new things forget how magical the world can be. You dared to taste, and now you see."

Lily spent the night exploring chocolate caves and riding lettuce-leaf boats. She made friends with the Carrot Knights and danced in the Grape Grove. But as dawn approached, the Spinach Sage grew serious.

"You must return now, but remember this: every unfamiliar thing holds magic. Fear keeps us small, but curiosity opens doors."

Lily stepped back through the pyramid just as it dissolved into sparkles, sinking into the **pool**. At breakfast, Lily smiled as Grandma served more **spinach**.

"What changed your mind?" Grandma asked.

Lily winked. "Let's just say I discovered that green things can be full of surprises—and magic."

From that day on, Lily tried everything with an open heart and hungry imagination, never knowing what wonderful worlds might be waiting on her plate.
