The Magic Pyramid Home Run

Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every afternoon, he'd grab his favorite bat—the one with the chipped blue paint—and practice hitting in his backyard. But today felt different. The air shimmered like sugar sparkling in sunlight.

When Leo swung his bat, the baseball didn't just sail through the air. It glowed golden, leaving a trail of sparkles like a shooting star. Leo ran after it, following its magical path behind the old oak tree and into a meadow he'd never seen before.

There, resting on a bed of soft clover, sat a small pyramid made of crystal. The baseball had landed right on top! The pyramid hummed with a gentle melody, like wind chimes dancing in a breeze.

"You found it!" A deep, warm voice rumbled behind Leo.

Leo turned slowly. Standing before him was the most enormous bull he'd ever seen, but this wasn't scary like the bulls in storybooks. This bull had a coat that gleamed like polished copper, and his eyes were kind and wise, crinkled with gentle laughter.

"I'm Buster," said the bull, nodding his massive head. "And that pyramid? It's the Heart of the Meadow. It only appears when someone with a truly brave heart hits a magical home run."

Leo's eyes widened. "Me? Brave?"

Buster smiled, his whiskers twitching. "Indeed. You face something scary every time you step up to the plate, yet you always swing anyway. That's the bravest thing there is."

The pyramid began to pulse with rainbow light. Buster explained that long ago, this crystal pyramid kept the meadow magical, but it had been lost. Now that Leo had found it, the meadow would stay enchanted forever.

"But I need to go home," Leo said, clutching his bat.

"Of course," Buster nodded. "Take the pyramid's magic with you. Whenever you need courage, just remember—you're the same kid who found the Heart of the Meadow."

Leo touched the pyramid one last time, then grabbed his glowing baseball. When he looked up, Buster and the meadow were gone. Leo stood in his backyard, bat in hand, baseball gleaming golden in his grip.

From that day on, whenever Leo stepped up to home plate, he remembered Buster's words. And somehow, every swing felt a little bit magical.
