The Magic Pyramid Garden
Lily loved helping her grandmother in the garden, but today something magical happened. While pulling weeds, she discovered a small glowing pyramid hidden beneath the spinach patch.
"Grandma! Come quick!" Lily called, running toward the house with the pyramid clutched in her dirty hands.
Her grandmother's eyes widened. "The Magic Pyramid! I haven't seen this since I was your age. Legend says it grants one special wish to pure hearts."
Lily's best friend Sam arrived with his padel racket, ready for their daily game in the park. But when he saw the pyramid glowing, he forgot all about their match.
"What does it do?" Sam asked, reaching out to touch its smooth surface.
Suddenly, the pyramid floated upward, spinning like a top. A beam of green light shot from its tip into the garden. Where it touched the ground, spinach plants began to grow enormous — taller than Lily!
"Eat these leaves," a gentle voice echoed from the pyramid. "They'll give you the courage to help others."
Lily and Sam each took a bite of the magical spinach. Instantly, they felt strong and brave. Their padel rackets began to sparkle too.
In the distance, they heard crying. It was their neighbor, old Mr. Higgins, trapped in his overturned car after a accident. Without thinking, Lily and Sam sprinted toward the crash, running faster than they ever had before.
With their magical strength and brave hearts, they lifted the heavy car and pulled Mr. Higgins to safety. The ambulance arrived minutes later.
"You children are heroes!" Mr. Higgins exclaimed.
That evening, as the sun set, the Magic Pyramid faded away. But Lily and Sam didn't mind. They had discovered something even better than magic wishes — the magic of helping others.
"We didn't need the pyramid's magic after all," Grandma said with a wink. "You two had that hero magic inside you all along."
And every summer after that, the spinach in Grandma's garden grew a little taller, greener, and more magical — just like Lily and Sam's friendship.
