The Magic Pool's Secret

Lily and Tomas were best friends who loved exploring. One hot summer day, they found an old map tucked inside a library book. It showed a mysterious path behind their town's swimming pool.

'Let's go see what's there!' said Lily, her curly hair bouncing as she grabbed her towel.

The pool was empty when they arrived. The water sparkled like diamonds under the bright sun. But something magical happened when Lily stepped near the edge. The water began to glow!

'Look!' whispered Tomas.

Suddenly, the pool's bottom changed. Instead of tiles, they saw a shining golden pyramid rising from the deep. A bubble floated up with a message: 'Only kind hearts may enter.'

Lily and Tomas held hands and jumped together. WHOOSH! They slid down a magical water slide inside the pyramid. Crystal walls showed scenes of children playing, laughing, and sharing.

They landed in a room filled with floating balls. A friendly creature appeared—Padel, a small dragon with rainbow scales.

'Welcome!' Padel said. 'This is the Pyramid of Kindness. Every day, children from all over the world come here to play games that teach friendship.'

Padel taught them a special game called padel, where you hit a glowing ball back and forth. But the rule was: you had to smile and say something nice every time you hit the ball.

Lily giggled. 'Tomas, you're the best friend ever!' SMACK—she hit the ball perfectly.

'And you're the bravest explorer!' Tomas shouted as he returned it. DING!

They played for hours, never once getting tired. The water in the pyramid's fountain sang soft music, and Lily's hair floated as if underwater.

When it was time to leave, Padel gave them each a small golden crystal. 'Remember,' the dragon said, 'kindness is the strongest magic. Share it everywhere you go.'

They woke up beside the pool, the map gone but their crystals glowing warm in their hands. From that day on, Lily and Tomas visited the pool often, always bringing kindness—and sometimes other friends who believed in magic too.
