The Magic Pool of Wonder

Lily loved summer days. Every morning, she would run outside with her favorite **baseball** glove, ready to play catch with her dad. But today something strange happened.

As Lily opened her **palm** to catch the ball, it didn't land in her glove. Instead, it floated above her hand, glowing like a tiny moon. The ball whispered, "Follow me!"

Lily's eyes grew wide. She tiptoed after the floating baseball, past her garden, through the meadow, until she reached a place she'd never seen before—a sparkling **pool** hidden among ancient trees.

The water wasn't blue. It shimmered with rainbow colors, and tiny lights danced on its surface like fireflies.

"You found me!" said the baseball, landing softly on a mossy rock. "I'm not really a baseball. I'm a Star Ball, and I need your help."

"What kind of help?" Lily asked, her heart beating fast with excitement.

"The magic pool is fading," the Star Ball explained. "It needs something special to stay bright. Something only a brave child can give."

Lily looked at her backpack. Her mom had packed her favorite orange **vitamin** gummy for after her game. It was shaped like a little star.

"Maybe this?" Lily offered, placing the vitamin gummy gently on the water's edge.

The moment it touched the magical pool, the water began to sparkle even brighter. The vitamin dissolved into golden light that spread through the pool like honey. The colors intensified—ruby red, emerald green, sapphire blue—all swirling together in a beautiful dance.

"Thank you, Lily!" the Star Ball cheered. "You gave something of your own, and that's the most powerful magic of all."

The pool bubbled and formed a small crystal bottle that floated to Lily. Inside was glowing water.

"This is Courage Water," the Star Ball said. "Whenever you need bravery, take one tiny sip. But use it wisely—true courage comes from your heart."

Lily promised she would. She tucked the bottle safely in her pocket, and the Star Ball transformed back into a regular baseball. She ran home, her mind full of wonder.

That night, as Lily drifted to sleep, she touched her palm and smiled. She had discovered that magic exists everywhere, especially when you're brave enough to share what you love.

And sometimes, the smallest things—a baseball game, a vitamin gummy, a kind heart—can create the most wonderful adventures of all.
