The Magic Pool in the Garden

Lily loved playing in her backyard, especially on hot summer days. One morning, she noticed something strange—a shimmering blue pool had appeared right in the middle of the garden! It sparkled like diamonds in the sunlight.

Her dog Buster, a golden retriever with fluffy fur, ran toward it excitedly. But as Buster got close, the pool whispered, "Only those who share may enter."

Lily held Buster's paw. "We share everything!" she declared.

The water glowed brighter. Suddenly, a voice called out, "Hello! Is someone there?"

Peeking through the bushes appeared Mia, a new girl from down the street. She looked shy and lonely.

"This is my dog Buster," Lily said warmly. "Want to see the magic pool with us?"

Mia's eyes widened. "Magic?"

Together, all three—Lily, Buster, and Mia—stepped toward the water. The pool swirled with rainbow colors! When they dipped their hands in, the water showed them wonderful things: Bakeries where cookies grew on trees, forests where butterflies sang songs, and mountains made of chocolate.

"We're all friends now," the pool bubbled happily. "Friendship is the greatest magic."

Every day after school, Lily, Mia, and Buster visited their secret pool. They learned that the best adventures are the ones you share with friends—and that a little kindness can make the whole world sparkle.
