The Magic Pool in Leo's Palm
Leo was the smallest boy in his class, with the biggest imagination. Every morning at breakfast, his mom would hand him his daily vitamin.
"Take your vitamin, Leo," she'd say. "It'll help you grow big and strong."
One Tuesday morning, something magical happened. As Leo held the orange tablet in his palm, he felt a strange tingle. Suddenly, the vitamin began to glow like a tiny sunset!
Leo gasped as the glowing vitamin dissolved into shimmering liquid, forming a perfect little pool right in the palm of his hand. The pool was no bigger than a coin, yet it sparkled with colors Leo had never seen—swirls of blue, purple, and gold.
From this magical pool, a tiny head popped up. It was a little water sprite, no larger than a grape, with silver hair and eyes like morning dew.
"Hello!" the sprite said in a voice like splashing water. "I'm Splash! You freed me from the vitamin spell!"
"You... you lived inside my vitamin?" Leo whispered.
Splash laughed. "I was trapped by a grumpy wizard who put me in the Vitamin Kingdom. Only someone with a truly kind heart could free me. And that's you, Leo!"
Leo's heart swelled. For the first time, someone needed him. "Can we be friends?" he asked.
"I'd love that!" Splash said. "But I need water to survive. The magic pool in your palm will stay, but you must keep it a secret."
Every day, Leo and Splash had adventures. They explored the garden, where Splash made tiny rainbows in the sprinkler. They played in Leo's toy boat during bath time. They even helped a lost ladybug find its way home.
One afternoon, Leo's classmates were playing tag. "Come join us, Leo!" called Maya, the girl who sat behind him.
Leo hesitated. He was always picked last. But Splash whispered, "Go! I believe in you!"
Leo played, running faster than ever before. When he tagged Maya, she smiled. "You're really fun, Leo! Want to play tomorrow?"
That night, Leo cradled his palm pool, where Splash slept. "Thank you, Splash," he whispered. "For everything."
Splash's eyes sparkled. "You didn't need magic to make friends, Leo. You just needed courage. The real magic was inside you all along."
Leo smiled, understanding. The pool in his palm glowed softly, a reminder that the best adventures—and the strongest magic—come from friendship and believing in yourself.
