The Magic Pool and the Lonely Bull
Lily found something strange glimmering in the grass behind her house. It was an old iPhone, but not like any phone she'd ever seen. The screen glowed with rainbow colors, even though it had no battery.
Curious, Lily touched the screen. Suddenly, a map appeared! It showed a path to her very own backyard, but to a place she'd never noticed before. Following the glowing trail, she pushed aside tall bushes and discovered a hidden pool with sparkling blue water.
"Hello, little friend," a deep voice rumbled.
Lily gasped. A magnificent bull with golden horns stood by the water's edge. But he wasn't scary—he had the kindest, gentlest eyes she'd ever seen.
"I'm Benny," the bull said softly. "I've been waiting for someone to find this magic pool for a very long time. It gets lonely being its guardian all alone."
Lily's heart went out to him. "I'm Lily. Would you like some company?"
Benny's eyes sparkled. "More than anything! But first, you must try this." He nudged a strange fruit toward her—a bright orange papaya that seemed to shimmer.
When Lily took a bite, something magical happened. She could hear the pool singing! The water showed her images of happy times, and she felt warm and happy inside.
"The magic papaya helps you see what truly matters," Benny explained. "Friendship, kindness, joy—that's the real magic in this world."
Lily smiled. "I don't need magic to know that making a new friend is the best adventure ever."
From that day on, Lily visited Benny and the magical pool whenever she could. She learned that the iPhone was really a magical key, appearing only to those with kind hearts who needed a friend.
And Benny? He was never lonely again, because the best magic of all is the magic of friendship.
