The Magic Pool and the Gentle Bull

Lily loved exploring the forest behind her house. One hot afternoon, she followed a sparkling blue butterfly deeper than she had ever gone before. The butterfly led her to a secret clearing she had never seen.

A magnificent bull with golden fur and kind brown eyes was drinking from the water. But this was no ordinary bull – his hooves left tiny rainbows wherever he stepped, and his horns glowed softly like moonlight.

"Hello, little friend," the bull said gently. Lily's eyes went wide. "You can talk?"

"I am Orion, guardian of the Magic Pool," the bull replied. "I have been waiting for someone with a kind heart to visit me."

Lily and Orion spent the whole afternoon together. The bull showed her how the pool could reflect not just her face, but her dreams. When Lily looked into the water, she saw visions of herself helping others, exploring the world, and making new friends.

"The most powerful magic is friendship," Orion told her. "That's why I guard this pool alone. I needed to learn that before I could find my true friends."

Suddenly, Orion pulled out a beautiful wooden padel from behind a large rock. "This is my treasure," he explained. "It belonged to my best friend long ago. We used to play together in this pool, racing leaves and making waves. But he grew up and stopped visiting."

Lily felt sad for the lonely bull. "I'll be your friend, Orion! I can come back every day!"

Orion's eyes twinkled. "I was hoping you would say that. Now, would you like to learn how to make magic waves?"

Lily took the padel and gently swirled it through the water. Sparkles danced across the surface, and the water glowed with rainbow colors. She laughed with joy as Orion taught her to create patterns of light.

"This is our secret friendship pool," Orion said softly. "Promise you'll never forget it."

"I promise," Lily whispered, hugging the gentle bull's golden neck.

From that day on, Lily visited Orion every summer. She learned that true friendship, like magic, is rare and precious – something to protect and treasure forever.
