The Magic Pool Adventure
Lily loved exploring her grandmother's garden, but her favorite spot was the hidden pool behind the old oak tree. It wasn't a swimming pool, but a tiny pond that sparkled like diamonds in the sunlight.
One summer afternoon, Lily brought her lunch to the garden: a juicy orange and fresh spinach from the garden. She sat by the pool, watching dragonflies dance above the water.
Suddenly, the water began to glow! A tiny green dragon popped its head out. "I'm Sprout!" the dragon said. "I live in this magic pool, but I'm lonely."
Lily wasn't afraid. "I'm Lily! Want to share my lunch?" She peeled her orange and offered a slice to Sprout. The dragon's eyes widened. "I've never had orange before!"
As Sprout nibbled the orange, something magical happened. His green scales turned orange! "I'm like a sunset now!" Sprout cheered. He did a happy flip in the pool, making rainbows dance across the water.
Then Lily remembered something important. "My grandma says spinach makes you strong." She offered some to Sprout.
The spinach made Sprout grow bigger and stronger. "Now I can give you rides!" Sprout said. Lily climbed on his back, and they soared around the garden.
"Thank you for sharing with me," Sprout said. "That's the best lesson: sharing makes magic happen."
Lily nodded. "And being brave enough to try new things makes wonderful adventures!"
Every day after that, Lily visited her dragon friend, bringing different foods to discover what magic they might create. She learned that the pool wasn't magic—it was friendship that made the garden sparkle.
