The Magic Pool Adventure

Lily loved visiting her grandmother's house, especially the mysterious pool behind the garden. One hot summer afternoon, she sat by the water, scrolling through her iphone, when something magical happened.

The pool began to shimmer with golden light! A tiny green dragon popped out of the water, no bigger than a duck. He looked friendly but sad.

"I'm hungry," the dragon squeaked. "Do you have any spinach?"

Lily was surprised! "Spinach? Dragons like spinach?"

"Magic dragons do!" he said. "Spinach gives us the power to make wonderful wishes come true."

Lily remembered her grandmother had just picked fresh spinach from the garden. She rushed inside, returning with a big green leaf. The dragon ate it happily, then suddenly grew bigger!

"Thank you!" he boomed joyfully. "Now I can grant you one wish!"

Lily thought carefully. She could wish for anything – toys, candy, endless summer. But then she looked at her iphone, then at the beautiful pool, the dragon, and the garden full of sunshine.

"I wish," she said slowly, "that every child could have a magic friend like you, and discover that real adventures are better than screens."

The dragon smiled warmly. "That's already true," he said. "Magic friends are everywhere – you just have to put down the phone and look!"

He dove back into the pool with a splash, creating hundreds of tiny sparkles that danced in the air like fireflies.

Lily never forgot that day. She still used her phone sometimes, but now she always made time for real adventures too – because you never know where magic might be waiting!
