The Magic Pool Adventure

iphonepoolzombie

Lily loved summer days, especially when her grandma took her to the old swimming pool. But today was special—Lily had brought her new iphone, a gift for her birthday. She wanted to take photos of everything: the sparkling water, the rainbow floaties, even her own toes wiggling underwater.

Grandma laughed as Lily held the phone carefully at the pool's edge. "Just don't drop it in, sweetie! That phone doesn't like swimming as much as you do!"

Lily giggled and sat on the pool steps, letting the cool water tickle her legs. She looked into the water and noticed something strange—there, at the bottom of the pool, was a tiny door she'd never seen before. It glowed with a soft blue light.

"Grandma, look!" she pointed.

But Grandma had dozed off in her chair, her sunhat covering her face. Lily took a deep breath and slipped quietly into the water. As she swam closer, the tiny door opened, and out floated the most surprising thing—a little zombie, no bigger than her hand!

But this wasn't a scary zombie. He was green and friendly, with bright purple eyes and a crown made of pool noodles. He waved happily.

"Hello!" he bubbled. "I'm Prince Zog, and I've been waiting for someone like you!"

Lily's eyes widened with wonder. "You're a zombie, but you're... nice?"

Prince Zog did a little underwater flip. "Of course! In my kingdom, zombies love to dance and tell jokes. We've been lonely in our underwater world. Will you be our friend?"

Lily smiled and reached out her hand. "I'd love to!"

For the next hour, Lily and Prince Zog played the most wonderful games. They had underwater tea parties with floating toys, raced each other across the pool, and even taught each other new games. Lily showed Prince Zog how to take silly photos with her iphone, and he showed her the secret magical caves beneath the pool where rainbow fish lived.

When Grandma finally woke up, Lily was grinning from ear to ear.

"Did you have fun, sweetie?" Grandma asked.

"The best fun ever!" Lily said, holding her iphone close. "I made the most wonderful friend, and he taught me that sometimes the most unexpected friendships are the best ones."

That night, Lily looked at the photos on her phone—a blurry one of something green and sparkly in the water. Grandma might think it was just a reflection, but Lily knew better. She had discovered magic in the most unlikely place, and learned that judging someone before knowing them isn't fair at all—whether they're zombies, or anyone else who seems different at first glance.

And somewhere, deep beneath the pool, Prince Zog waved his pool noodle crown, already planning their next wonderful adventure together.
