The Magic Pillow Pyramid

Lily built the tallest pyramid in the world - at least, the tallest one ever made of pillows in her bedroom. She stacked purple cushions, fluffy pillows, and even her dad's old sleeping bag until it nearly touched the ceiling fan.

"This is my pyramid," she whispered, "and something magical lives inside."

Her mom's iPhone sat on Lily's nightstand. Usually, Mom needed it for work calls. But tonight, Lily noticed something strange. The phone was glowing with a soft blue light, and tiny bubbles floated up from its screen like it was underwater.

"Lily!" a tiny voice called from the pillow pyramid. "I'm stuck!"

Lily crept closer. Inside her pyramid, someone was tangled in her sleeping bag - a small, green boy with fuzzy hair and the friendliest smile she'd ever seen.

"I'm Zeb," he said. "I'm a zombie, but not the scary kind. I'm a friend zombie! I got lost looking for the magical water portal."

Lily giggled. "You don't look scary at all. You look like someone I'd want to play with!"

Zeb explained he came from a world where zombies weren't monsters - they were guardians of friendship. He'd followed the glow of the iPhone because it had become a portal between their worlds. But now he needed water to open the way home.

Lily's eyes lit up. "I have an idea!" She grabbed her water bottle from soccer practice. "This isn't just water. This is adventure water!"

Together, she and Zeb sprinkled water around the pyramid. The iPhone glowed brighter, and suddenly the whole room filled with sparkling light.

"Thank you, Lily," Zeb said, hugging her. "You're the best friend I've ever met. Remember: even scary things might just be lonely friends waiting for someone to say hello."

With a pop, Zeb disappeared through the glowing iPhone. The blue light faded, and the phone looked normal again. But Lily noticed something new - a small green stone on her pillow, warm to the touch like a tiny heart.

She fell asleep smiling, her pillow pyramid still standing, knowing that magic was real, and sometimes the best friends find you in the most unexpected ways.
