The Magic Phone Message

wateriphonelightning

Lily loved rainy days. She loved how the **water** danced on her windowpane, creating tiny rivers that raced each other to the bottom. But today, something extraordinary happened.

Her dad had left his old **iPhone** on the windowsill. As raindrops splashed on the screen, it began to glow—not the usual blue light, but a soft golden shimmer. Suddenly, a crack of **lightning** flashed outside, and the phone made a magical ding!

Lily peeked at the screen and gasped. Tiny letters appeared: "HELP! We're stuck in the gutter!"

Without thinking, Lily grabbed her yellow rainboots and rushed outside. She followed the sound of faint giggling coming from the rain gutter. There, tumbling in the current, were three tiny creatures with gossamer wings and raindrop-shaped bodies.

"We're Water Sprites!" the smallest one cried. "The storm washed us away from our pond!"

Lily carefully cupped her hands and caught each sprite. One by one, she carried them to the safety of a puddle in her garden. The sprites did a happy dance, making the water sparkle like diamonds.

"Thank you, Lily!" said the oldest sprite. "You have the kindest heart. Whenever rain falls, look for our messages in puddles!"

From that day on, Lily never saw rainy days the same way. Each puddle became a magical portal, each storm an adventure waiting to happen. She learned that kindness comes in all sizes—and sometimes, magic hides in the most unexpected places.

And whenever lightning flashed during a storm, Lily would smile, wondering what magical friend might need her help next.
