The Magic Padel of Sun-Drop Island
Lila lived on an island where the palm trees danced in the wind. Every morning, she would go running along the beach, her feet splashing in the warm waves. She loved the way the sun painted everything orange when it rose and set.
One stormy afternoon, while running past her favorite palm tree, Lila spotted something glowing in the sand. It was a padel—a magical racket made of golden light! The moment she touched it, the sky crackled with purple lightning, but Lila wasn't scared. She felt brave.
"Whoosh!" The padel pulled her forward, and suddenly Lila was running faster than ever before. She zoomed across the beach, laughing as the wind tickled her face. The padel guided her to a hidden cove she'd never seen before.
There, sitting on a rock, was the saddest little orange fish she'd ever seen.
"I'm stuck in this puddle," the fish bubbled. "The storm separated me from my family in the big ocean."
Lila knew what to do. She used the magic padel to scoop up the fish gently, and with another flash of lightning, she was running back to the sea—faster than the clouds, faster than her fear.
She reached the waves just as the last lightning bolt disappeared. The fish swam free, popping up to blow her a thank-you bubble.
"True courage isn't about never being scared," Lila's grandmother always said. "It's about helping others even when you are."
That night, Lila fell asleep under the palm trees, dreaming of lightning and orange sunsets, her heart full of magic and her new friend safe in the sea.
