The Magic Padel Game
Lila loved her padel racket more than anything. It sparkled with tiny stars, just like her friend Ollie had said it would when he gave it to her.
Every afternoon, Lila and Ollie played padel under the giant palm tree in Lila's backyard. The palm tree was special – its leaves shimmered like emeralds in the sun, and if you listened closely, you could hear it hum gentle songs.
One day, something strange emerged from behind the palm tree. It stumbled forward, arms outstretched, groaning softly.
"A zombie!" Ollie gasped, dropping his padel ball.
But this zombie wasn't scary. It was wearing a bright rainbow sweater and fuzzy slippers. It blinked its big purple eyes and said, "Hello! I've been watching you play. It looks like fun!"
Lila's teddy bear, Mr. Fluffles – who she always brought to watch the games – seemed to smile. The zombie's name was Zara, and she explained she'd been wandering alone for 100 years, looking for friends who weren't afraid of her.
"Will you teach me padel?" Zara asked hopefully.
Lila and Ollie exchanged glances. Then they smiled.
"Of course!" Lila handed Zara her spare racket. "But first, you need a proper friend!"
She pressed Mr. Fluffles into Zara's hands. The bear seemed to come alive, giving Zara the warmest hug.
From that day on, the palm tree shaded four friends: Lila, Ollie, Zara, and Mr. Fluffles. They played magical padel games where the ball turned into butterflies, and Zara never felt lonely again.
Because the best magic isn't in sparkling rackets or enchanted trees – it's in opening your heart to someone who needs a friend.
