The Magic Padel Game
Lily loved Saturday mornings. That was when her dad took her to the park to play padel, their favorite game together. But this Saturday was different.
As they walked to the court, Lily spotted something amazing. A golden dog with sparkly fur was running toward them, but this wasn't any ordinary dog — he was floating just above the ground!
"I'm Rocket!" the dog barked happily. "And I need your help!"
Lily's padel racket suddenly began to glow with rainbow colors. "What's happening?" she gasped.
"Your magic padel can open portals!" Rocket explained. "My friend Mittens the cat is stuck in the Cloud Kingdom, and only someone with a pure heart can save her!"
Without thinking, Lily swung her glowing padel racket. WHOOSH! A swirling portal appeared in the sky.
Rocket leaped through, with Lily running right behind him. They landed on a cloud made of cotton candy. In the distance, a tiny gray cat was trapped in a bubble of giggles.
"Mittens!" Lily called out, running toward her friend. But a grumpy cloud giant blocked her path.
"None shall pass!" the giant rumbled.
Lily looked at her padel racket, then had an idea. Instead of fighting, she hit a cotton candy ball softly toward the giant. It bounced off his nose and — BOING! — he couldn't help but smile.
"That was... fun," the giant admitted, stepping aside.
Lily popped the bubble with her racket, freeing Mittens. The cat purred and rubbed against Lily's leg.
"Thank you!" Mittens meowed. "You taught us that kindness works better than fighting."
Back home, Lily's dad smiled. "Ready for our padel game?"
Lily hugged Rocket and Mittens, who had become real pets. "Ready!" she said. "But today, let's play on the ground. I've had enough adventure in the clouds for one day!"
And from then on, every padel game reminded Lily that even the smallest act of kindness could open the biggest doors.
