The Magic Padel Court's Secret
Lily, Max, and Sam were best friends who loved playing padel every Saturday. One hot afternoon, while running toward their favorite court, they noticed something strange—a glowing blue light flickering behind the old oak tree near the playground.
"What's that?" Lily panted, stopping to catch her breath.
"Let's find out!" Max shouted, already sprinting ahead.
Behind the tree, they discovered a crystal-clear pool they'd never seen before. The water shimmered with rainbow colors, and tiny bubbles floated upward like little glass spheres.
"It's magical," Sam whispered, reaching out to touch the surface.
Suddenly, the water began to bubble, and three small objects floated to the top. Each one looked like a glowing vitamin tablet, but these were special—one was red like courage, one blue like wisdom, and one yellow like kindness.
"Take them," whispered a voice from the pool itself. "But only use them when someone truly needs help."
The friends each took one, tucking the magical vitamins safely into their pockets.
The very next day, a new boy moved to town. Toby was shy and lonely, watching from behind the fence as they played padel.
Lily remembered her red vitamin. She held it tight and suddenly felt brave enough to call out, "Hey Toby! Want to learn how to play?"
Toby's face lit up. As they taught him to hold the padel racket, Max's blue vitamin glowed—helping him explain the rules clearly. And when Toby missed the ball and felt discouraged, Sam's yellow vitamin reminded him to say, "Great try! You're getting better every minute!"
By sunset, they weren't just four friends playing padel—they were a team. The secret pool had taught them that the real magic wasn't in the vitamins at all. It was in kindness, courage, and friendship.
That night, the pool disappeared, but nobody minded. They had found something even better than magic—they had learned how to make others feel welcome, and that was the greatest treasure of all.
