The Magic Padel Court

Mia loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy Saturday, she found something strange tucked behind old boxes: a dusty padel racket that seemed to sparkle in the dim light.

"What's this?" she wondered, running her fingers along the handle. It felt warm, like it was humming with magic.

Her iPhone buzzed in her pocket. A message appeared: *Want to play?* But there was no sender, just a glowing padel icon.

Curious, Mia carried the racket to the backyard. The moment she stepped onto the old padel court, something amazing happened. The cracked court transformed into smooth, shining blue. Flowers bloomed along the edges.

Then a figure appeared at the other side. It looked like a zombie - green skin, tattered clothes - but instead of being scary, it was smiling and holding a padel racket.

"Hello!" called the zombie-who-wasn't-really-a-zombie. "I've been waiting so long for someone to play!"

Mia wasn't afraid. "You're not scary at all!"

"I'm Zed," the creature laughed. "I'm the guardian of this magical court. I've been lonely for 100 years."

They played padel together, and every time the ball hit the ground, flowers sprang up. When Zed hit a perfect shot, butterflies danced around the court. Mia's iPhone played music by itself, and they laughed and played until sunset.

"You're my best friend, Zed!" Mia said.

"And you're mine," Zed replied. "Friendship is the strongest magic."

That night, Mia fell asleep with the padel racket beside her, knowing that some things that seem scary at first might just be lonely friends waiting to be found.

And every Saturday after that, she and Zed played padel together - the best game in the magical world.
