The Magic Padel Ball's Secret
Lily loved playing padel with her best friend Toby. Every Saturday, they'd meet at the park, their racquets swinging through the warm summer air. One day, Toby hit the ball so hard it sailed over the fence and disappeared into the mysterious garden next door.
"Let's go find it!" Lily whispered, her eyes sparkling with adventure.
The garden was like nothing they'd ever seen. Plants grew in impossible colors—purple roses, blue sunflowers, and enormous leaves of glowing green spinach that shimmered like tiny stars.
"That spinach looks... magical," Toby said, reaching for a leaf.
"Don't!" a voice bubbled up from behind a enormous hedge. Out swam a girl about their age, but she was floating in mid-air as if she were swimming through invisible water. "I'm Marina, and this is the Swimming Garden."
Marina explained that the magical spinach plants kept the garden floating. But without the magic padel ball—which had actually fallen from the sky—the spinach was losing its power.
"You mean... our game brought magic here?" Lily asked, amazed.
Marina nodded. "Every time you play padel with joy, you feed the magic. That's why the ball came to you."
The children spent the afternoon swimming through the air, learning that friendship and fun were the real magic. Lily and Toby promised to visit every week, bringing their padel racquets and their happy hearts.
That night, Lily looked at her spinach dinner and smiled. Sometimes, magic was hiding in the most unexpected places—even right beside your best friend.
