The Magic Orange Spring

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy afternoon, she found something strange — an old iPhone tucked inside a dusty wooden box. It still worked!

"Curious," whispered a silky voice. Lily jumped and looked down. A fluffy black cat sat beside her, its green eyes twinkling.

"You can talk?"

"I'm Cleo," the cat purred. "That phone belonged to the Water Guardian. It opens magical doors."

Lily's fingers tapped the screen. Suddenly, water began bubbling up from the attic floor! But it wasn't scary water — it sparkled with rainbow colors.

Cleo nudged Lily forward. "Jump in!"

They splashed into the most beautiful place Lily had ever seen. Trees with silver leaves stretched toward a purple sky. In the center stood a creature with patchy clothes and messy green hair — a zombie! But this zombie wasn't scary at all. He was planting orange flowers in a golden garden.

"Hello!" the zombie called. "I'm Zed. Welcome to the Spring of Wishes!"

Zed explained that he wasn't a scary zombie — he was a magical gardener. The orange flowers he planted granted wishes to children with pure hearts. Each flower needed a special kind of water to grow, and Zed had been守护ing the spring for hundreds of years.

"I have an iPhone," Lily said, pulling it out. "Look!"

The screen glowed. A picture appeared — a small dog without a home.

"That's my wish," Lily said softly. "I want to help animals find families."

Zed smiled and plucked a glowing orange. "Make your wish, child."

Lily squeezed the orange. Sweet juice filled her hands, and suddenly, the attic was filled with golden light. When it faded, something magical had happened. The iPhone now showed a map — with markers for every shelter animal needing a home.

Cleo purred. "You did it, Lily. The magic chooses kind hearts."

Zed handed her another orange. "Keep this. When you help others, more magic will come."

Lily hugged Cleo and Zed goodbye. Back in the attic, she looked at her phone. The zombie, cat, water, and orange had given her something better than magic — they'd shown her that kindness was the strongest power of all.

And that afternoon, Lily started her first mission: helping a little puppy find its forever home.
