The Magic Orange Phone

Lily discovered something strange in her grandmother's attic. It was an old, dusty iphone, but it glowed with a warm orange light when she touched it.

"What makes you shine?" Lily whispered, rubbing the screen with her sleeve.

The phone suddenly displayed a message: *Feed me the sunshine fruit.*

Lily's heart raced. She knew exactly what that meant! Her grandmother kept a special basket of oranges on the kitchen table, always saying they held "little drops of sunshine" inside.

She rushed downstairs, grabbed the roundest, brightest orange from the basket, and carried it back to the attic. The moment she placed the orange beside the glowing phone, something magical happened.

*Whoosh!*

The orange began to spin, its peel turning into tiny letters that floated into the air. Lily watched in wonder as the words formed a message: *Every orange holds a special vitamin — the Vitamin of Kindness!*

The phone screen rippled like water, and a tiny fairy appeared. She had wings the color of orange segments and hair like sunshine.

"Thank you for feeding me!" the fairy chirped. "I've been trapped in this phone for fifty years!"

Lily gasped. "Who trapped you?"

"A grumpy wizard who hated kindness," the fairy explained. "Only someone with a pure heart and the magic orange could free me."

The fairy flew around Lily, leaving sparkling orange dust everywhere. "For your kindness, I grant you one wish."

Lily thought carefully. She didn't wish for toys or candy. "I wish that every time someone eats an orange, they feel happy and want to share kindness with others."

The fairy clapped her hands delightedly. "A wish that spreads kindness — the best kind!"

From that day on, whenever Lily shared an orange with someone, they smiled and did something kind for another person. The Vitamin of Kindness was spreading through her town, one orange at a time.

And sometimes, if she looked very carefully at her grandmother's old iphone, Lily could still see it glowing softly orange, reminding her that even the smallest acts of kindness can create the biggest magic.
