The Magic of Midnight Friends
Luna was a lonely girl with wild curly hair that bounced when she walked. Every night, she wished for a real friend. One evening, as the moon peeked through her window, something magical happened.
Her old stuffed bull — the one with the missing button eye — suddenly stretched its legs. It moved slowly, like a gentle zombie waking up from a long nap. But this wasn't scary. The bull smiled kindly.
"Hello, Luna," the bull said softly. "I've been waiting for you to need me."
Luna's cat, Whiskers, purred and rubbed against the bull. The cat's silver hair shimmered with stardust.
"Whiskers has magic in every hair," the bull explained. "That's why I could wake up. Your cat's love brought me to life."
The bull dug into his pocket and pulled out a sparkling orange candy. "This is a courage vitamin. One bite, and you'll believe in yourself."
Luna took the magical vitamin. Suddenly, she felt brave enough for anything.
"Let's go on an adventure!" Luna cheered.
Together, the girl, her cat, and the zombie bull who moved slowly but loved deeply, danced under the stars. They discovered that real friends come in all shapes — even ones that come to life when you need them most.
That night, Luna learned that loneliness disappears when you open your heart to magic. And every night since, her midnight friends return, ready for another adventure.
