The Magic in Luna's Hair
Luna had the most unusual hair anyone had ever seen. It was wild and curly and floated slightly, as if it was always underwater. But the strangest part was that it glowed golden whenever something magical was near.
One evening, Luna was running through her backyard when her hair suddenly sparkled brighter than ever. She followed the glow to the old palm tree at the edge of the garden. Its leaves whispered secrets in the wind, and at its base sat a tiny bear no bigger than her teddy bear.
"Please help!" squeaked the little bear. "My friend is trapped!"
Luna's heart beat fast as the bear led her past the palm tree to a hidden garden she'd never noticed before. In the center stood a magnificent bull made of moonlight and stars, its horns curved like crescent moons. The bull looked sad, its glow flickering weakly.
"The Star Bull guards children's dreams," explained the tiny bear. "But he's stuck here because someone forgot to believe in magic."
Luna's hair glowed so brightly it lit up the whole garden. "I believe!" she shouted, and she meant it with all her heart. She believed in magic and friendship and impossible things.
The Star Bull's eyes opened, shining like twin moons. It lowered its magnificent head, and Luna climbed onto its back. The tiny bear scrambled up too, clutching Luna's hair like reins.
Together they soared into the night sky, running on clouds and chasing stardust. Luna had never felt so free, so brave, so magical.
From that night on, Luna's hair still floated and glowed, but now she knew why—it was magic, just like her. And every evening, she'd visit the palm tree to check on her friends: the tiny bear who had become her best friend, and the Star Bull who made sure every child's dreams were safe.
Some might say it was just imagination. But Luna knew better. Magic was real, as long as you believed.
