The Magic Garden Pyramid

Leo loved exploring his grandmother's garden at sunset. Among the flowers stood a tall **palm** tree with leaves that shimmered like gold in the evening light. Grandma said it was magical.

One evening, Leo spotted something strange behind the palm—a perfect pyramid made of old books, stacked high as his shoulders. His books! He'd been wondering where they went.

"Who built this?" Leo whispered, circling the pyramid. A voice groaned from behind it.

"I did..." The figure shuffled out. It looked like a stuffed animal bull, but its button eyes glowed softly. It moved slowly, like a sleepy **zombie** waking from a long nap. "I'm Barnaby. I've been reading your books."

Leo gasped. "You're my toy bull! But how—?"

"The magic palm tree," Barnaby yawned, stretching his plush legs. "At sunset, if you believe in magic enough, it brings special friends to life. I wanted to learn everything from your books before the sun set completely."

Leo giggled. "That's amazing! But why build them into a pyramid?"

"Because knowledge builds up," Barnaby said wisely. "Each book teaches something new, and together they make something wonderful. Like us!" He held out a soft hoof. "Want to be friends?"

Leo hugged his toy come to life. "Best friends!"

They read together until the first star appeared, when Barnaby grew sleepy again. "Don't worry," the bull whispered, curling up beside the book pyramid. "Every sunset, if you visit the palm tree with an open heart, I'll wake up again."

Leo visited every evening, learning that magic lives wherever friendship, imagination, and kindness meet. Some might say it was impossible—a zombie bull reading books—but Leo knew better: the most magical things happen when you believe.
