The Magic Garden Pool
Lily loved exploring her grandmother's backyard. It was full of secrets and magic, especially the old **pool** hidden behind the climbing roses. The water hadn't been used in years, but it sparkled mysteriously.
One hot afternoon, Lily noticed something strange. Green **water** plants were growing rapidly around the pool's edge. She stepped closer and saw a small, muddy hand reaching out from between the leaves!
"A **zombie**!" Lily gasped, backing away.
But then she heard a tiny voice. "I'm not a zombie. I'm Zomby, and I'm the guardian of this magic pool."
Lily looked again. Zomby was small and green, with leaves instead of hair and flowers for buttons. He looked friendly, not scary at all.
"The pool needs magic to stay alive," Zomby explained sadly. "But someone forgot to plant the special seeds."
Lily's eyes lit up. "I know! Grandma planted magic **spinach** last week. She said it makes you super strong!"
She rushed to the garden and returned with fresh spinach leaves. Zomby sprinkled them into the water. Bubbles rose to the surface, and the water began to glow.
"We need one more thing," Zomby said. "Something sweet and full of sunshine."
Lily remembered the **papaya** tree by the kitchen window. She grabbed the ripest, golden papaya she could find and dropped it into the glowing water.
Whoosh! The pool transformed into a beautiful garden paradise. Flowers bloomed instantly. Butterflies danced in the air. Zomby cheered and did a happy dance.
"Thank you, Lily! You saved the magic pool!" Zomby hugged her with his leafy arms. "Now I can share its magic with everyone."
From that day on, Lily and Zomby became best friends. They tended the magical garden together, and anyone who swam in the pool felt happy and strong for days. Lily learned that sometimes things that seem scary at first—like little green guardians—can turn out to be wonderful friends if you give them a chance.
