The Magic Garden Pool
Lily loved visiting her grandmother's house, especially the mysterious garden behind the old wooden shed. One sunny afternoon, she discovered a hidden door covered in twisting ivy.
Inside, she found the most magical sight—a sparkling **pool** filled with rainbow-colored water, and beside it swam the friendliest **bull** she had ever seen. But this wasn't an ordinary bull. His name was Barnaby, and he wore a tiny red hat and could talk!
"Hello there!" Barnaby mooed happily. "Welcome to my garden pool! It's made of magic dewdrops and wishes."
Lily's eyes grew wide. "But what do you do here all day?"
Barnaby smiled. "I grow special **spinach** that makes people brave! Would you like to try some?"
He showed her rows of emerald-green leaves that sparkled like tiny stars. "My magic spinach helped a little mouse cross a river, and it made a scared squirrel climb the tallest tree. Bravery isn't about not being afraid—it's about doing brave things even when you ARE afraid."
Lily thought about her fear of the dark. "Could it help me too?"
"Of course!" Barnaby said, diving into his magical pool with a joyful splash. "But first, you must make a wish and promise to help someone else be brave too."
Lily closed her eyes tight and made her wish. Then she ate a piece of the sparkling spinach. That night, when her bedroom seemed dark and scary, she remembered Barnaby's words and felt a warm, brave glow in her heart.
From that day on, Lily visited the magical garden often. She helped Barnaby plant new seeds, and together they taught other children that the bravest thing anyone can do is help others find their courage too.
And sometimes, if you look carefully in your grandmother's garden, you might just find a talking bull and a magical pool of your own!
