The Magic Friendship Bubble

In a tiny garden pool lived a small goldfish named Finley. The pool wasn't just water — it was magical water that sparkled like diamonds when the sun touched it.

Finley was lonely. All the other fish had friends to swim with, but Finley was too shy to say hello. He spent his days hiding behind a lily pad, watching the others play tag and race.

One morning, Finley noticed something glowing near the bottom of the pool. It was a beautiful orange bubble, glowing like a tiny sun. Curious, Finley swam closer.

The bubble spoke! "I'm a friendship vitamin!" it said cheerfully. "I give fish the courage to make friends."

Finley's eyes went wide. "You're a WHAT?"

"A friendship vitamin!" The bubble bounced happily. "I was made from a thousand happy moments, mixed with kindness and sunshine. Any fish who swallows me will never be shy again!"

But Finley hesitated. He looked at the other fish playing together, wishing HE could join them. Then he had an idea.

"If I take you," Finley said, "will I only make friends for myself?"

The bubble thought about this. "Well, yes, that's how friendship vitamins work."

Finley shook his head. "Then I don't want you."

The bubble was surprised. "But you're lonely!"

"There's another fish over there who's even lonelier than me," Finley said, pointing to a tiny silver fish hiding in the corner. "She needs a friend more than I do. Can you help her instead?"

The friendship vitamin gasped. "Nobody has ever said THAT before!"

The bubble zipped over to the silver fish and whispered something in her ear. Suddenly, she swam over to Finley.

"Hi," she said shyly. "I'm Penny. That bubble told me you're kind. Will you be my friend?"

Finley grinned. "Yes!"

The magical water bubbled with joy. The friendship vitamin had worked — but not because Finley swallowed it. It worked because Finley's KINDNESS was the real magic all along.

That day, Finley learned that the best way to make a friend is to BE a friend. And he and Penny played together until the stars came out, making the magical pool sparkle even brighter than before.
