The Magic Feeling Vitamin

Lily loved her messy brown hair that always stuck out like little squirrel tails. But today was special. Her grandmother had given her a mysterious tiny bottle from her adventure in the Rainbow Forest.

"This is a Magic Feeling Vitamin," Grandma whispered with twinkling eyes. "It helps you see feelings everywhere."

Lily was curious! She took the tiny orange tablet, and suddenly something amazing happened. Her hair began to change color! When she felt happy, her hair turned sunshine yellow. When she was excited, it became bright pink like cotton candy. And when she felt sad, it drooped into soft blue waves.

But at school, Lily worried. What if everyone laughed at her rainbow hair? So she pulled her big purple hat down low, hiding her magical hair beneath its brim. The hat was cozy and safe, like a little hiding spot.

During recess, her friend Noah looked sad. His puppy was missing. Lily wanted to help, but she kept her hat on. Then she remembered the vitamin's lesson—feelings are meant to be seen and shared.

Slowly, Lily lifted her hat. Her hair glowed warm, comforting orange—exactly how she wanted to make Noah feel. "Let's find your puppy together," she said bravely.

Noah's eyes widened. "Your hair! It's glowing!"

"It shows my feelings," Lily explained. "Right now, I'm feeling helpful and hopeful."

Together, with Lily's magical hair lighting the way like a warm lantern, they found Noah's puppy stuck behind the playground shed. The puppy licked Lily's orange glowing hair, making it sparkle even brighter!

Soon, all the children wanted Lily's help finding their own feelings. She learned that the Magic Feeling Vitamin wasn't just about seeing emotions—it was about sharing them. The hat still sat in her backpack, but Lily didn't need it anymore. Her magical hair had taught her the most important lesson: being yourself—even when you're glowing orange—is the bravest thing you can be.

And sometimes, the best magic isn't in a bottle or a hat, but in simply being a true friend.
