The Magic Cable to Dreamland

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic, especially on rainy Saturdays. The dusty boxes held treasures from everywhere—old photographs, strange coins, and mysterious trinkets from faraway places.

One afternoon, Lily discovered something she'd never noticed before. Behind a stack of books, a thick golden cable snaked across the wooden floorboards. It hummed with a soft, twinkling sound, like tiny bells ringing in the distance.

"Where do you lead?" Lily wondered aloud, wrapping her small hand around the warm, glowing cable.

The cable tugged gently, pulling her forward. Lily followed, her heart beating faster with each step. The cable led through the attic wall (which had somehow turned to mist) and up into a sky painted with swirling purple and pink clouds.

Suddenly, the cable stopped at the most amazing sight—a crystal pyramid floating among the stars! Its sides sparkled like diamonds, and inside, Lily could see golden light dancing.

"Hello, young friend," a deep, rumbly voice echoed from behind her.

Lily turned to see a magnificent bull with fur the color of midnight blue and horns that glowed like moonlight. But this wasn't a scary bull. His eyes were kind and wise, filled with the warmth of a thousand summers.

"I'm Ferdinand," the bull said softly. "I guard the Pyramid of Wishes. But I'm lonely sometimes. Nobody visits anymore."

"I'm visiting!" Lily said boldly. "And I brought you this." She held out a shiny marble she'd found in the attic.

Ferdinand's eyes widened. "A wishing stone! How thoughtful!" He nudged her hand with his velvety nose. "In return, I'll show you something special."

Together, they entered the crystal pyramid. Inside were millions of glowing bubbles, each holding a dream—from children who wanted to fly, to those who wished for friends, to dreams of ice cream that never melted.

"Every dream matters," Ferdinand explained. "Even the small ones. Especially the small ones."

Lily made her wish—for Ferdinand to have more friends—and threw her marble into the pyramid. It burst into golden sparkles that rained down like stardust.

"Thank you, Lily," Ferdinand whispered, nuzzling her cheek. "You've given me the best gift of all."

The golden cable led Lily home, but she never forgot the magical bull and his pyramid of dreams. And sometimes, when she looked up at the stars, she could still see a tiny crystal pyramid shining bright, with a lonely but loving bull who finally had a friend—thanks to one curious girl who followed a magic cable.
