Lily loved exploring the woods behind her house. Every Saturday morning, she and her dog Buster would discover something new.

One sunny day, Buster started barking at something shiny near the old oak tree. Lily ran over and found a mysterious golden cable stretching deep into the forest. It hummed with a soft, magical glow.

"What do you think it is, Buster?" Lily whispered. The golden retriever wagged his tail excitedly.

"Hello, young explorer!" the bear boomed happily. "I'm Barnaby, guardian of the Magical Water Cable. You've found it!"

Lily's eyes widened. "What does it do?"

"This special cable carries friendship messages across the whole forest," Barnaby explained. "Animals use it to stay connected. But lately, it's been quiet. Everyone's too busy to talk."

Lily thought about her friends at school. Sometimes she forgot to call them too. "Maybe everyone just needs a reminder?"

Barnaby smiled. "That's the spirit! Would you and Buster help me send some friendship signals?"

Lily nodded eagerly. Together, they pulled the cable gently, sending ripples of warm feelings through the water. Soon, rabbits, birds, and even shy deer appeared by the stream.

"I haven't talked to my friend in weeks," said a little rabbit.

"Me neither," chirped a blue jay.
