The Magic Baseball Vitamin

Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he'd grab his glove and run to the neighborhood field, dreaming of hitting the perfect home run.

One Tuesday, something strange happened. As Leo bent down to pick up his favorite baseball, he noticed a tiny glowing orange pill right next to it. It sparkled like a captured sunset, and curious letters appeared on it: V-I-T-A-M-I-N.

"That's weird," Leo whispered. But when he picked it up, warm tingles rushed through his fingers. A soft voice whispered, "Take me, and your baseball dreams will come alive."

Leo hesitated, then swallowed the magical vitamin. Suddenly, everything around him shimmered. The baseball began glowing golden! When Leo threw it, the ball left rainbow trails behind it. When he started running toward first base, his feet barely touched the ground — he was floating!

His best friend Maya arrived, her eyes wide. "Leo! You're running like a superhero! And your baseball — it's magical!"

Together they played catch, the vitamin's magic making every throw perfect, every catch effortless. But Leo noticed something sad: the magic only worked for him.

"I wish we could share this," Leo said, looking at the glowing baseball.

Suddenly, the baseball split into two glowing pieces! One stayed with Leo, one flew to Maya.

"The vitamin's magic works best with friends," Maya realized.

They played all afternoon, running faster than ever, laughing as their baseball created magical shapes in the air — butterflies, stars, even a giant smiley face.

By sunset, other kids joined their game. The magic spread: everyone could run super fast, everyone could catch the magical baseball, and everyone felt wonderful.

That night, Leo realized something important: the real magic wasn't the vitamin or the super-speed. It was sharing the fun with friends. Baseball had always been great, but playing together made it magical.

The next day, the vitamin's glow had faded. But Leo and Maya still ran just as fast, still played just as wonderfully, and still had just as much fun.

"Some vitamins," Leo grinned, "give you magic powers that fade. But friendship? That's the magic that lasts forever."
