The Magic Baseball in the Sky
Lily loved her golden dog, Sunny. He had the softest hair that shined like sunshine. Every day after school, they played baseball in the backyard. Sunny would chase the ball and bring it back, wagging his tail happily.
One sunny afternoon, Lily's mom gave her a special gummy vitamin. It was shaped like a star! "This will help you grow strong," Mom said with a wink.
Lily ate the vitamin and suddenly felt tingling all over. When she threw the baseball to Sunny, something magical happened. The ball didn't come down—it kept going up, higher and higher, glowing like a little moon!
Sunny barked excitedly and jumped into the air. His paws touched the baseball, and suddenly they were both floating above the backyard!
"Where are we going?" Lily asked, holding Sunny's fur tight.
The baseball led them through clouds that tasted like strawberry cotton candy. They met a family of friendly cloud people who were having a picnic. They shared moon-melon and stories about their adventures.
"We've lost our cloud ball," the youngest cloud boy said sadly. "Without it, we can't play cloud baseball."
Lily looked at her magical baseball, then at the sad cloud boy. She knew what she had to do.
"You can have mine!" Lily said, handing him the glowing ball. "Sunny and I can find another way home."
The cloud family cheered! As a thank you gift, the cloud grandmother gave Lily a special iphone made of cloud crystal. "When you miss us, just whisper into it, and we'll send you a cloud message!"
Lily and Sunny floated back home on a soft cloud. That night, Lily learned that the best adventures aren't about keeping magical things—they're about making new friends and sharing happiness.
Now, whenever Lily sees a cloud shaped like a baseball, she smiles and waves, knowing her friends are playing in the sky. And Sunny? He still chases every ball, hoping for another magical adventure!
