The Little Sphinx Who Sneezed

pyramidsphinxvitaminspy

Leo was a very small sphinx with a very big problem. Every morning, his mother would bring him a spoonful of mysterious orange syrup. "Your pyramid vitamin," she would say wisely. "It makes sphinxes strong and brave."

But Leo didn't want to be brave. He wanted to be a spy!

While other sphinxes guarded the ancient pyramid with stern faces and riddles, Leo practiced tiptoeing. He learned to move silently across the golden sand. He practiced hiding behind palm trees and ducking behind rocks. His dream was to sneak inside the Great Pyramid and discover its legendary treasure room.

One moonlit night, Leo's chance came. The adult sphinxes were having their annual Riddle Contest, cackling at their own clever jokes. Leo crept toward the pyramid on silent paws, his heart pounding like desert drums.

"I'll be the greatest sphinx spy in history!" he whispered to himself.

But as he squeezed through a tiny crack in the pyramid's wall, something tickled his nose. The dusty air inside was full of ancient sand and forgotten secrets. Leo felt a sneeze building up, bigger and bigger...

ACHOO!

The explosion echoed through the stone passages. Suddenly, the whole pyramid began to rumble. A hidden door slid open, revealing a chamber filled with something more precious than gold—thousands of scrolls containing lost stories, songs, and knowledge from thousands of years ago.

"What's this?" Leo gasped, reading one scroll. "The Secret of Making Sphinxes Giggle?"

The rumbling stopped. Leo realized the pyramid had been protecting these treasures, not hiding them. And he had found them not by being sneaky, but by being himself—a sphinx who couldn't hold back a sneeze!

When Leo returned to the other sphinxes, they were amazed. "How did you discover the Lost Library?" they asked.

Leo smiled. "I was just being me. And I took my vitamin this morning—maybe that's what gave me the courage to explore!"

From that day on, Leo was still a spy. But he didn't spy for gold or jewels. He spied for lost stories and forgotten songs, sharing them with anyone who needed a little magic in their life.

And every morning, he happily took his pyramid vitamin. Not because it made him strong or brave, but because being a little sphinx with a big dream was perfect just the way he was.
