The Lightning Wizard's Magic Hat
Mia loved stormy days. She pressed her nose against the window, watching raindrops race down the glass. Suddenly, a bolt of **lightning** flashed purple and gold across the sky, something Mia had never seen before.
A mysterious glow appeared in her garden. Mia grabbed her yellow raincoat and ran outside. There, beneath the old oak tree, sat the most beautiful **hat** she'd ever seen — tall and purple, with silver stars that twinkled like tiny moons.
She reached out her **palm**, and the hat hopped right onto her head!
"Whoops!" giggled Mia as the hat whispered, "Hold on tight!"
Suddenly, Mia's **hair** began to shimmer and sparkle, changing from brown to a magnificent rainbow of colors that glowed even in the rain.
"Hello there!" said a friendly voice. Mia looked up to see the hat's rim smiling at her. "I'm Twinkle, the Lightning Wizard's hat! I've been waiting for someone kind enough to help me deliver something very special."
Mia's eyes widened. "What do you need delivered?"
"Magical sunshine **vitamins**!" Twinkle explained. "They grow on cloud flowers during purple lightning storms. Children who are sad or sick need them to feel strong again. Will you help me?"
Mia nodded eagerly. "Yes!"
Twinkle spun around, and suddenly they were floating above the clouds. Mia gasped in wonder as she saw hundreds of sparkling golden flowers, each glowing like tiny suns.
"Pick the brightest ones," Twinkle instructed. "Those have the most magic."
Mia carefully gathered the glowing blossoms into her pockets, feeling warm and happy with each one she touched. When they returned to her garden, Twinkle said, "Now toss them into the wind!"
Mia threw the magical flowers into the breeze. They turned into golden sparkles that danced through the air, finding their way to children who needed them most.
"Thank you, Mia," said Twinkle, settling back on her head. "You have the biggest heart I've seen in a hundred years."
Mia's hair turned back to brown, but now it had a single streak of rainbow that would always stay there — a reminder that even on stormy days, magic can bring sunshine to someone else's life.
From then on, Mia never complained about rainy days again. She knew that somewhere, somehow, there was magic waiting to happen — and she was ready to help make it shine.
