The Lightning Vitamins of Coral Cove

Maya loved swimming more than anything in the world. Every afternoon, she'd slip beneath the waves at Coral Cove, her long hair floating like seaweed, her legs kicking gracefully as she chased colorful fish through the crystal-clear water.

One stormy afternoon, Maya noticed something strange. As lightning cracked across the dark sky, tiny glowing specks rained down into the ocean. They sparkled like captured stars, swirling in the water like magical dust.

"What are those?" she wondered, swimming closer.

An old sea turtle named Sheldon poked his head from behind a coral reef. "Those are lightning vitamins, little one," he said slowly. "Every time lightning strikes the sea, it creates these special gifts. They give sea creatures the strength to swim through strong currents and stormy weather."

Maya's eyes widened. "That's amazing!"

"But look there," Sheldon said, nodding toward a young dolphin struggling nearby. "Little Finn wasn't fast enough to catch his vitamins before they sank. He's too weak to swim properly now."

Without hesitating, Maya dove deeper, collecting handfuls of the glowing specks. They tingled in her palms, warm and magical. She gently offered them to Finn, who gobbled them happily. Within moments, the dolphin's strength returned, and he leaped joyfully through the waves.

"Thank you, Maya!" Finn chirped. "You're the best friend ever!"

Sheldon smiled. "You know, Maya, the real magic wasn't in those vitamins. It was in your kind heart. That's the strongest force in all the world—stronger than lightning, deeper than any ocean."

Maya swam home that evening feeling warm inside, knowing that kindness was the greatest adventure of all. And sometimes, during stormy swims, she still sees those glowing specks—not just lightning vitamins, but little reminders that magic lives in every act of friendship.
