The Lightning's Secret Friend
In the highest cloud castle lived a tiny bolt named Sparkle. Unlike other lightning bolts who loved to flash and boom loudly, Sparkle was shy. She only wanted to make friends, but everyone ran away when they saw her glowing. One night, as gray storm clouds gathered below, a peculiar hat came floating by. It wasn't just any hat — it was bright purple with silver stars that twinkled like actual night-sky stars. The hat stopped right beside Sparkle's cloud.
"Hello there!" said the hat, spinning happily. "I'm Twirly!" Sparkle was surprised. Usually, thunder and clouds were afraid of her. "I'm Sparkle," she whispered, her glow turning a gentle pink instead of bright yellow. Twirly did something magical then — the hat reached into its brim and pulled out the most delicious-smelling fruit Sparkle had ever seen. It was a papaya, glowing golden and sweet.
"Want to share?" Twirly asked. "I saved it from a magical garden below. Best papaya in the sky kingdom." Together, the lightning bolt and the magical hat feasted on papaya while raindrops danced around them like tiny silver ballerinas. For the first time, Sparkle didn't feel lonely. She learned something wonderful that night: true friends see who you really are, not what others say about you. And sometimes, the best friends come in the most unexpected shapes — even purple starry hats who carry papayas and aren't scared of lightning at all.
